So I just got back from hanging out with this one guy who I had been crushing on for a while now. He’s very terrible at replying to things, but he agreed to meet up today, and it was actually very nice. We sat down and talked about ourselves, and literature, and education, and our families, and what we do and why we do it, and I don’t know. It was just quite pleasant to not have to be drunk or high or in some weird social situation that requires conversation. We’re very alike, yet very different. We react to social situations differently, and I’m also better at initiating conversation, and replying to things, but I don’t know. He’s very pleasant to talk to. He’s kind and honest, regardless of our differing views on certain things, and I quite admire him for who he is from what I know so far. Definitely not letting the halo effect take over and disregard any possible bad qualities, but as of now, I quite like him. He’s tall and blonde and has a British accent because he’s from England, and he definitely has things worth saying. And he told me it was fun and that we should definitely do it again. I’m very happy with how today has turned out.
